The story of England’s most famous outlaw. Robin is the merriest of Men but he has a yellow streak. Proud, pompous and arrogant, Robin’s ambitions far exceed his capabilities. Our hero is on his way through the forest when he meets Friar Tuck (a portly, gluttonous fellow of the cloth who finds a chicken leg much more appealing than that of a maiden’s). Friar Tuck is on his way to marry Maid Marion to Norbick the Nasty, the Sheriff of Nottingham. Sheriff Nobrick will stop at nothing to get his own devious, ambitious, back-stabbing way. Little Joan (Nottingham’s answer to “Braveheart”) tries to warn Robin of the danger but to no avail … this feisty fighter will take on anything and anybody!!
So come along and see the fun begin with other such wonderful characters as poncy Prince John, and the Soothe Sayer Morgiana the Hag (Krusty the Clown’s grandmother), plus the unassuming hero of the saga – none other than Maid Marion herself and Marion’s companion, “Sister Elliot” from the Order of the Little Sisters of the Untouchables.
